Why do I need therapy?
Sometimes we need someone other than our friends and family to help us get from where we are to where we want to be in life. A non-judgmental and empathetic therapist will allow you to explore your difficulties and navigate your way to more fulfillment.
Do you take insurance?
I currently do not take insurance. However, I am happy to provide you with an out-of-network receipt for reimbursement if your plan has that option.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, check, or credit card.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
In the event that it becomes necessary for you to reschedule your appointment, I ask that you let me know 24 hours in advance of your session. Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will require payment for that missed appointment.
What should I expect from our first session?
After our appointment is made, I will email you some forms to complete. They’ll provide me with some information about you, but they will also give you some additional information about therapy with me. Once you’re in the office, I will invite you to share your story with me and we’ll identify ways that I can help you to reach your desired goals. My belief is that therapy is a very collaborative effort and I always want it to feel that way for you.
